State, federal agents bust illegal horse racing ring in Burbank
WALLA WALLA COUNTY, Wash. - State and federal agents busted an illegal horse racing operation in Burbank.
Officials say agents with the U.S. Department of Agriculture, Washington State Gambling Commission and deputies with the Walla Walla County Sheriff's Office served a warrant on Tuesday. This was the culmination of a two-year investigation into a ranch near Burbank.
The Gambling Commission says ranch operators accepted illegal wagers and are suspected of illegal gambling on site.
Authorities will release more information as the investigation continues.
