As more and more people head to the mountain passes for winter recreation, the Washington State Department of Transportation (WSDOT) said the increasing crowds are bringing a new hazard to the passes.
Expect strong winds this afternoon, especially for the Coast where a High Wind Warning is in effect until 6 p.m. today and a High Surf Advisory is in effect until 4 p.m. tomorrow.
Saturday will be windy and rainy. A fairly strong system will appear at the coast, delivering more moisture and potentially very gusty winds.
