WMW viewer tips lead to arrest of High-Violent Offender, convicted sex offender who was missing in Tri-Cities

FUGITIVE CAPTURED December 14, 2015 -- Department of Corrections Ofc. Ross Esparza says Washington's Most Wanted viewers called Tri-Cities Crime Stoppers with tips that helped located Josh McClain today in Benton City. The amateur rapper was wanted on two charges for drugs and carrying a dangerous weapon and was also breaking probation in Benton County where he was busted for meth and resisting arrest. Officer Esparza gathered a team of two more State DOC Officers, two units from the Benton County Sheriffs’ Office along with the United States Marshals Task Force from Tri-Cities and they apprehended McClain at 11:30am along with his girlfriend who also had warrants for not going to court on 3 new charges. She will be reviewed by the Benton County Gang Unit for possible a new charge of Rendering Criminal Assistance. The Department of Corrections and Benton County Sheriff`s Office Gang Unit almost caught him Wednesday night, but say he got away after being tipped-off by two people who were then arrested for rendering criminal assistance.
