CLEARED: Accident blocking I-5 southbound south of Olympia

OLYMPIA – An accident on southbound I-5 near milepost 88 south of Olympia is now clear after blocking all three lanes of traffic Thursday.

There were no details available about the accident, which happened around noon near Prairie Creek.

WSDOT cameras showed that the accident and emergency vehicles were blocking the better part of all three lanes at 12:30 p.m., though some cars were squeezing by using the shoulder and part of the far left lane.  Crews had the accident cleared by 2:30 p.m.
