BELLEVUE, Wash. -- Q13 Cares is teaming up with St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital to help kids beat cancer.
An amazing new home is up for sale on the Eastside. It’s located in Bellevue and was built by community sponsors for St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
One hundred percent of the proceeds from the sale will go directly to them. It was built with the finest materials and craftsmanship.
“This is a fun space. This isn`t something we do in all of our plans. It`s a dressing area so you have your closets. His a little bit smaller than the hers”, says Heather Dosch of John Buchan Homes.
The builders thought of everything, from the giant soaking tub upstairs, to the marble counters in the kitchen. It's even got a temperature-controlled wine cellar.
“You know one thing about this house is, it really gives you no reason to go anywhere else. The house is 4 bedrooms. It’s got a rec room that can be used for any purpose. It’s got a home theater, wine cellar, gym, it’s got everything you could imagine. If you get food delivered you don`t need to leave, you`ve got everything there,” says Dosch.
But the best part, is all the profits from its sale will go to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital in Memphis, for children's cancer research.
“The research that they`re doing is amazing. They`re not a profit organization. They want truly to cure cancer so they share their information freely and no patient ever has to pay for it,” says Dosch.
John Buchan Homes donated its time and resources to build the house.
“It’s going to be to a great. They get a fantastic home, all the bells and whistles, beautiful great location in Bellevue, and on top of that it goes to such a wonderful cause!”
All the money made here will be used to buy something far more precious; time.
“There`s hope at St Jude and we are so excited to be participating and making a difference,” says Dosch.
You can tour the home through the end of February. Even if you're not in the market, you can enter to win a $10,000 gift card from McDonald's Fine Furniture. The home is located at 2417 105th Avenue NE in Bellevue. On Saturday, tours run from 9am to 5pm. Sundays, they're noon to 5pm.
