Forecast: Super Soaker Saturday, but Monday night looks dry

Happy Saturday all!

It’s a #SuperSoaker and despite all the heavy rain, we’ll be above normal for our highs again today in the upper 50s.  (Normal is 54 for early November). Expect about a .25 to .75 inches of rain. Plus, a Flood Watch in effect through this evening for Mason County and the Skokomish River basin.

Tonight: Wet and soggy. Lows in the upper 40s to low 50s.

Sunday: Rain starts to taper off midday and the on/off scattered showers will fade away with a decent mix of clouds and some sun breaks. Highs near 60 with lows about 50.

Next week: The latest forecast models have the rain just offshore for most of the day on Monday. At this point, the coast gets soggy Monday evening, but around Puget Sound we could have a dry game as the Seahawks take on the Buffalo Bills.

Election Day looks soggy with rain and breezy conditions.

We’ll get a nice two-day break in the rain. Next soaker looks likely for late Thursday into Friday of next week. High temps mostly between 55-60 degrees, which is above normal for this part of November.
