FUGITIVE CAPTURED Feb. 26, 2014 -- Acting on WMW viewer tips called into Crime Stoppers, the Yakima County Violent Crimes Task Force arrested Tanisha Starr Thompson on Wednesday. FUGITIVE WANTED BY DOC IN YAKIMA COUNTY Feb. 21, 2014 -- A female sex offender needs to be found in Yakima County. Tanisha Starr Thompson is a convicted child molester. Officers say she and her boyfriend raped a 13-year-old girl. The Department of Corrections said she's failed to register, and officers believe she's hanging around minors -- which she's prohibited from doing. Tanisha Starr Thompson is Native American, 19 years old, 5-foot-2, and known to use meth.
