If a co-worker slaps my butt, but says 'sorry' sort of -- is that sexual harassment?

aa-sex harassQ: Is it sexual harassment at work if someone smacks your behind hard and says 'sorry', sort of? -- Maile in Lynnwood A: Maile, that's a good question. If someone slaps you at work, whether it be on your buttocks or anywhere, that's unwanted touching and could be assault in the 4th degree. But, they've got a bigger problem. If you go to your Human Resources or your boss and tell them what's going on, and ask them to stop. If he doesn't do it there, they're going to be held accountable at work - and with law enforcement. If it happens again, report it to the police, because it is assault in the 4th degree." -- Pierce County Det. Ed Troyer
