CAPTURED: Wanted ID thief arrested after refusing to provide his real name to Pierce County deputies



CAPTURED --  Deputies with the Pierce County Sheriff's Department's Crime Suppression Team arrested Khiry Crittenden today at a motel on Hosmer.  Investigators say he gave them a fake name but when they could find no records of anyone matching that identification, he refused to provide his information.  He was booked into the Pierce County  jail where staff members immediately recognized him.  Crittenden was booked for Obstruction, Providing False Information and on his Department of Corrections warrant for Escape from Community Custody.  He is being held without bail.

    He told officers his name was ‘Parris’ and had no idea how the drugs got in his jacket.

    Now, he’s wanted by the Department of Corrections in Pierce County for breaking probation on an identity theft bust.

    He has more than 20 convictions on his rap sheet, including a slew of domestic violence assaults, obstructing and lying to police and multiple drug crimes.

    He’s 29 years old.
