CAPTURED - Lakewood Police arrested Santana Cartwright and booked him into the Pierce County jail on a charge of Failure to Register as a Sex Offender. Lt. Chris Lawler says they received a Crime Stoppers of Tacoma-Pierce County tip from a Washington's Most Wanted viewer that led patrol officers to his location.  Cartwright is WMW Capture #836.

WANTED IN PIERCE COUNTY --
Santana Cartwright was convicted of two counts of child rape in 2005.

His victims were a young girl he preyed on several times, and two boys -- ages 7 and 9.

Now, he's wanted for failing to register as a sex offender. “The law requires that they register and each jurisdiction is required to keep tabs on them, so if they don`t register and they move and they don`t tell us or they`re trying to hide and they`re playing the transient game, then we`re not able to track and monitor them like the law requires us to,” says Pierce County Det. Ed Troyer.”

Santana Cartwright is 30 years old, 5’6” and weighs 225 pounds.

He has a scar from a dog bite on his left hand.
