CAPTURED -- Accused home burglary suspect Nicholas Thompson made his first appearance in court today sporting a busted eye after Pierce County Sheriff's deputies arrested him on Wednesday.
"We got multiple tips from many sources through Washington’s Most Wanted on where the suspect was. We went there with our K9 unit, K9 Dan and some other deputies. Sure enough, we had to put the dog up in the attic and we found him hiding in the insulation. As our K9 Dan was chasing him through the attic, he fell through the ceiling, crashed down the living room floor and fled out the front door where deputies were waiting. He tried to run, but he went head-on with our patrol cars and knocked himself down, It’s a good capture for our guys and we wouldn’t have been able to do it as quickly without the help from the viewers of Washington’s Most Wanted.” said Det. Ed Troyer.
Bail was set at $25,000. Nicholson is WMW Capture #1065.
