College bowl games: WSU to face Miami in Sun Bowl; UW to play Southern Mississippi in 'Heart of Dallas'

SEATTLE -- The 40 college bowl games have been set (yes, 40), and the Cougs and Huskies are both playing on Dec. 26.

Washington State will face the University of Miami in the Hyundai Sun Bowl at 11 a.m. on Saturday, Dec. 26.  (CBS), while the University of Washington will play Southern Miss. in the Heart of Dallas Bowl at 11:20 a.m. on the same day (ESPN). The Cougs are favored by 1.5 points; the Huskies are favored by 8 points.

Among the other Pac-12 schools:

University of Arizona will play New Mexico in the Gildan New Mexico Bowl  at 11 a.m. on Saturday, Dec. 19 (ESPN).

No. 22 Utah will play BYU in the Royal Purple Las Vegas Bowl at 12:30 p.m. on Saturday, Dec. 19 (ABC).

UCLA will play Nebraska in the Foster Farms Bowl at 6:15 p.m. on Saturday, Dec. 26 (ESPN).

California plays Air Force in the Lockheed Martin Armed Forces Bowl at 11 a.m. on Tuesday, Dec. 29 (ESPN).

USC plays Wisconsin in the Holiday Bowl at 7:30 p.m. on Wednesday, Dec. 30. (ESPN).

No. 6 Stanford plays No. 5 Iowa in the Rose Bowl at 2 p.m. on Friday, Jan. 1 (ESPN).

No. 15 Oregon plays No. 11 TCU in the Valero Alamo Bowl at 3:45 p.m. on Saturday, Jan. 2 (ESPN)

Arizona State plays West Virginia in the Motel 6 Cactus Bowl at 7:15 p.m on Saturday, Jan. 2 (ESPN)
