12s take over Phoenix ahead of pivotal Seahawks-Cardinals game

PHOENIX -- 12s took over several Phoenix area nightspots Saturday evening. The chants of "Sea-HAWKS!" fill the air, and Seahawks blue and green is everywhere.

But only at McFadden's in Glendale -- just a stone's throw away from University of Phoenix Stadium -- does "Santa Hawk" arrive in a horse-drawn carriage, granting our fondest Seahawks wishes.

"The Seahawks have been very good this year. For Christmas, they get another NFC West championship, home-field advantage through the playoffs and another Super Bowl win," says NP Nilson, aka "Santa Hawk."

The Arizona game has become the favorite destination for many Seahawks faithful. And with the NFC West title on the line Sunday, thousands of 12s made the trip.

"We came here last year to watch the Huskies and the Seahawks," says Tim Fallon from Carbonado. "We have been planning this trip since July. We plan to make it every year. This is not Glendale, Arizona. This is Seahawk, Arizona. We own this town and we will own the game."

Seahawks vs. Cardinals kickoff is Sunday at 5:30. Follow the game LIVE here on Q13FOX.com.
