You guessed it: Snow!

Snowy view in Silverdale from viewer Crystal Newell

SEATTLE -- A little snow is in the forecast. Everyone will see some light snowfall but I’m not expecting much in the METRO. The best chance for a few inches of snow will be the foothills and North of Seattle from Everett to Bellingham.

The coast will get a little snow before it changes to rain early Tuesday. The greatest threat times will be from Midnight Tuesday to Noon Tuesday afternoon.

The temperatures will become mild by Tuesday night and it actually looks dry on Wednesday. Thursday will bring mountain snow but the lowlands will just be rainy and breezy.

This transition from COLD to MILD will mean that any moisture that does fall can make the roads slick through Tuesday.
