WSDOT inundated with phone calls about I-405 express toll lanes

SEATTLE -- The Washington State Department of Transportation says drivers are still confused over the new I-405 express toll lanes.

Calls to customer service have doubled since the program's rocky start.

The 'Good to Go" department says its call center is getting 120,000 calls a month. That's double the usual amount of calls.

Drivers with questions often wait on hold for 25 minutes before they talk to a service representative.

The department says it has even added phone reps to handle the volume.

WSDOT says the most popular questions are about how to pay, which pass to get, or where they can an account.
