Woman says pizza thrown in her face led her to stab another woman in head in Belltown

SEATTLE – Police said an argument t over $20 and a slice of pizza ended with a 37-year-old woman being stabbed in the head Sunday night in Belltown.

Police say the 36-year-old woman they arrested claimed she attacked the victim after the victim threw a piece of pizza in her face at 2nd Ave. and Bell St. just before 10 p.m. Witnesses said she pulled out a pocket knife, swung it around and eventually stabbed the victim in the forehead.

No witnesses would corroborate that the victim had thrown pizza at the suspect’s face.

The Seattle Fire Department treated the victim at the scene, and the suspect was booked for investigation of assault.
