Woman rescued after allegedly jumping off ferry; minimal delays expected (PHOTOS)



SEATTLE -- A woman was rescued by fire crews Saturday morning after allegedly jumping off the Washington State Ferry Puyallup as it pulled into the Colman Dock.

The woman was rescued shortly after jumping off the ferry, headed from Bainbridge Island, individuals aboard the ship said.

It was not immediately known if she suffered any injuries.



A witness on the ferry tweeted pictures and updates from the scene. She said after the woman was rescued, everything seemed to quickly return to normal in terms of ferry schedule.



No delays were immediately reported.
