Winter says goodbye in typical fashion

SEATTLE -- Today is the last day of winter and we're getting rain and breezy winds.

There is a slight chance of an afternoon thunderstorm, primarily in the Central Sound.  Highs today will be near 50. There is a WINTER WEATHER ADVISORY for snow in the Cascades until tomorrow morning.

Tomorrow will feature a few showers and we'll top out around 50 again.

Then it looks pretty nice around here.  Friday through the weekend and into Monday, it looks partly-to-mostly sunny with highs warming into the mid 50s for the weekend and maybe 60-ish next Monday.
