WEATHER: It's going to get awfully sloppy out there this weekend

SEATTLE – Hope you didn’t get too used to the sunshine this week.

It’s shaping up to be a messy weekend with multiple systems heading to Western Washington, Q13 weather anchor Parella Lewis said.

The biggest potential impact will come beginning Saturday night, when snow levels will begin falling to around 3,500 feet. Expect an inch or so of snow on the passes, with 2-4 inches at higher elevations by Sunday afternoon.

Saturday will bring a fair amount of rain, with up to a half-inch possible Saturday and Sunday in the lowland areas, and up to 3 inches in the mountains. Gusts could hit 25 mph on Saturday.

No flooding is expected. Check out the very latest forecast here.
