WATCH: Restaurant workers freak out when they mistakenly think they won Powerball jackpot

ENGLEWOOD CLIFFS, NJ -  Employees at a New Jersey restaurant cried tears of joy, called their families, and one even quit his job -- after they matched all of the winning Powerball numbers on a lottery ticket they purchased over the weekend.

It was all part of an office pool.

Video from Grissini's Restaurant in Englewood Cliffs, New Jersey shows bartenders, cooks, and servers celebrating after reading off the winning lottery numbers for Saturday's $900 million drawing.

Turns out, they actually matched the numbers from Wednesday's Powerball drawing. Their ticket included numbers 2, 11, 47, 62, 63 and a Powerball of 17, was an exact match for Wednesday's $528 million prize.

But no one won in Wednesday's drawing, which prompted the jackpot to rise to  $900 million.

It's not clear when the group figured out they had the wrong day's numbers... or if the person who quit got their job back.

The grand prize for tonight's Powerball lottery is $1.5 billion.
