BURLINGTON, Wash – The Skagit County Tulip Festival started Tuesday and state troopers said they would be on the highway ensuring visitors made it to and from the fields safely.
“The last thing we want to have is a serious injury or fatality collision caused by visual distractions outside their vehicles,” said WSP District 7 Captain Jeff Sass. “We want drivers to have a safe trip to and from the festival.”
