Teen claims he could be the father of his teacher’s baby

STRATFORD,  Conn. -- A special education teacher in Connecticut faces charges for allegedly having a sexual relationship with a student.

Police said the 15-year-old victim reported that he was sexually assaulted by a female employee of the Stratford School System. The teen told investigators that he and Michelle Sulzicki had been having sex for two years, according to WTIC.

According to the victim, Sulzicki was his home tutor and they had sex at his house when his parents were in a different room.

Sulzicki, who was a teacher's aide when the assault first occurred, denied having a sexual relationship with the victim, but eventually admitted to having sex with the boy one time. She also admitted to communicating with the victim via texts and phone calls.

The victim told police that he is unsure if he is the father of Sulzicki's 5-month-old daughter.

On Wednesday, Sulzicki was arrested and charged with first-degree sexual assault, second-degree sexual assault, illegal sexual contact with a minor and risk of injury to a minor.

If convicted, she faces a minimum of 10 to 15 years in prison. Police said she was released on a $100,000 bond.
