NEW YORK -- Police are looking for a teen who they say violently attacked and robbed a mother while she was carrying her infant in New York Monday afternoon.
According to WPIX, the 24-year-old woman was walking in the Bronx with her 3-month old baby strapped to her chest. The suspect, 18-year-old Alonzo Brown, allegedly ran up behind the woman and kicked her, causing the baby to fall to the ground.
Brown then ran off with the victim's cellphone, police said.
The woman and child were treated at Jacobi Hospital and released.
Police are still looking for Brown.
