Sounder Northline service to Seahawks game Sunday canceled

SEATTLE -- Sound Transit announced Friday night it has made the decision to cancel the Sounder Northline Everett-Seattle service for Sunday to the Seahawks game because of the heavy rain forecast that would increase chances of a mudslide.

"We made this decision in advance to give our riders as much notice as possible to plan alternate game day travel," Sound Transit said. "For regularly scheduled bus options to the game please visit Sound Transit’s Event Services page or use the online Trip Planner on our home page:

"If you have already purchased a Sounder ticket for Sunday’s game please visit Ticket Vending Machine problems to fill out an online resolution form."

Sound Transit said it will continue to monitor weather forecasts and slope conditions to determine its service plan for Monday.
