Snow falls across parts of Pierce, King counties

PUYALLUP, Washington --  Light snow fell across parts of Pierce and South King counties early Sunday morning.

Residents from Auburn to Puyallup and even into parts of east Tacoma shared photos of white lawns and trees.

Q13 FOX News meteorologist M.J. McDermott confirmed snow was falling, but said changing conditions meant it would not likely continue.

"The forecast is for things to dry out, so the snow will not last," said McDermott.
