Small plane crashes into Dyes Inlet

KITSAP COUNTY, Wash. -- There was an emergency rescue Tuesday after a small plane crashed in Kitsap County.

Video shows the plane going down and eventually crashing into the Dyes Inlet.

The pilot was the only person on board at the time of the crash. Rescuers say he has a minor facial injury but is otherwise fine.

It's unknown why the plane went down, but it is at least the third unexpected landing we've had in western Washington in the last two weeks.
