Serious crash on I-5 causes big delays in Shoreline

SHORELINE, Wash. -- A serious car crash on the southbound lanes of Interstate 5 is causing traffic backups in the Shoreline area.

According to Washington State Patrol Trooper Rick Johnson, at least one person was injured in the multi-car crash around 12:30 p.m. This happened in the southbound lanes near 130th St.

At one point, the crash was blocking all lanes. Several lanes were getting through by 1 p.m. but a 4-mile backup had already developed.
