Seattle Seahawks: New changes at CenturyLink Field will enhance fan experience

SEATTLE -- Football fans can expect new changes at CenturyLink Field as the Seattle Seahawks play their pre-season home opener Thursday night. The team announced there will be walk-through metal detectors at all of the entry gates.

Inside the stadium, Seahawks fans will notice several renovations including the high-definition LED board below the upper bowl. Team officials say it will show more player stats and game updates from around the NFL. Several of the pro shops were also redesigned to create an easier walk-in shopping experience.

Last week, the team announced new changes to the game menu. There will be new food stands selling chicken and waffles from Ezell’s Famous Chicken and a bacon cheeseburger with Tillamook cheddar designed by Chef John Howie.

Seahawks officials say the changes will enhance the fan experience on gamedays.
