Seattle Public Utilities: Broken waterline closes street in Queen Anne
SEATTLE -- A broken waterline shut down a street in the Queen Anne neighborhood Thursday morning. Patches of ice-covered the sidewalk and a section of the road along Taylor Avenue North.
A Seattle Public Utilities spokesperson said the broken service line was from a nearby apartment building. Police closed the street near Highland Drive to give utility crews room to repair the line.
At least one apartment unit on the street had water damage.
