SEATTLE (AP) — Police are investigating two separate homicides that occurred overnight in Seattle's Kenwood and South Park neighborhoods.
The Seattle Times reports officers responding to a report of gunshots fired early Sunday morning found a man inside a South Park area home who had been hit by at least one round. Shell casings were found in the street.
The man was declared dead at the scene after CPR measures failed.
Shortly after 11 p.m. Saturday, officers responded to reports of shots fired and a person lying in the road in the Kenwood area.
Police say officers found a man on the street with gunshot wounds. Officers attempted to administer CPR, but ultimately the man was declared dead at the scene.
