PIERCE COUNTY -- An early morning semi-crash caused no injuries, but it did spill some precious cargo your dog would love.
According to the Washington State Patrol, a semi on northbound Interstate 5 in Fife flipped over around 1 a.m. Wednesday morning. The semi was hauling dog food, and most of it was lost when the trailer tipped, troopers said.
Troopers said the driver fell asleep at the wheel. They are continuing to investigate the crash, and it is unknown if the driver will be ticketed for reckless driving.
