Reports of natural gas odor in Everett turn out to be false alarm

EVERETT -- Fire and Puget Sound Energy crews responded to multiple reports of a natural gas odor Tuesday morning. Luckily, the calls turned out to be nothing.

Everett Fire tweeted about the odor and response around 9:30 a.m. Tuesday.

A short time later, Everett Fire tweeted that the odor was coming from burning differential oil on a truck. No natural gas leak was found.
