Report: Southwestern Oregon Community College closed following threat

COOS BAY, Ore. -- Southwestern Oregon Community College closed its campus Friday morning following a threat, KEZI in Oregon reported, just a day after 10 people were killed at a different community college in Oregon.

KEZI in Oregon tweeted the news that SWCC was closed following a threat.

Coos Bay County Sheriff's Office told Q13 FOX News they were aware of the evacuation and are trying to determine the cause of the threat.

SWCC released the following statement a short time later:

The campus is closed today immediately 9:00am. All classes are cancelled. Faculty student staff clear to go home immediately.

Classes will resume Monday October 5th.
