Redmond K9 takes down another bad guy

REDMOND - Don't mess with Remy! A car prowler in Redmond found that out, the hard way, Friday morning just after 2 a.m. According to Redmond Police, a citizen called 911 to report that had just confronted a car prowler in the citizen's vehicle, parked outside.

The citizen grabbed the car prowler's coat, but the suspect ran right out of his coat and fled down the street, police said.

Redmond Police and Police K9 "Remy" responded to the scene, in the 8300 block of 134th Place Northeast, and conducted a 'track' for the prowler.

K9 Remy found the man hiding in a fenced in backyard in the neighborhood.

Police took the prowler into custody for suspicion of Vehicle Prowling and Trespassing. No one, including Remy, was hurt during the incident.
