Police: Man arrested after hiding body

PUYALLUP, Wash. -- One Puyallup man has been arrested for suspicion of homicide after trying to hide a dead body from police.

Puyallup police say that just after 11:30 p.m. Saturday, officers were called to a disturbance in a home in the 400 block of Valley Avenue NE, but when officers arrived on scene, a man living in the residence told them there was no problem. While searching the home to confirm, police say they found a dead woman in a bedroom. Police say there is evidence that she had been murdered. The woman was later identified as a 58-year-old woman who lived in the residence with the man.

The man, a 57-year-old Puyallup resident, was arrested for investigation of homicide and booked into Pierce County Jail.
