Police arrest two 12-year-old boys accused of robbing Seattle woman

SEATTLE -- Police say they arrested two 12-year-old boys accused of attacking and attempting to rob a woman in Seattle.

According to Seattle police, the woman, 48, was walking near 32nd Avenue S & S Willow Street around 4 p.m. Saturday. That's when the boys approached her, demanded her purse and kicked her in the back and leg, police said.

The woman was able to pull out her cell phone and call for help.

Police arrived quickly and the two officers located both boys trying to climb over a fence on Holly Park Drive South.

Officers arrested the two boys and booked them into King County Youth Service Center for investigation of robbery.
