Police arrest suspect in Marysville gas station shooting

Marysville police have arrested a suspect they say was involved in a shooting at a Chevron earlier this month.

The shooting happened before 4 a.m. on Oct. 18 at the Chevron on 70 State Avenue.

Investigators said a person called 911 to report that people inside two cars were shooting at each other.

When officers arrived at the scene, they found a man, in his 40s, with a gunshot wound.

Officers treated the victim's arm before Marysville Fire Department medics arrived. The victim survived his injuries.

The suspect was arrested on Oct. 27 in Everett. Police say he is well-known to law enforcement in Snohomish County.

The suspect is expected to be booked into jail on a number of felony charges, like first-degree assault, unlawful possession of a firearm and drive-by shooting.
