Police: 17-year-old student with gun arrested at Federal Way High School
FEDERAL WAY, Wash. -- Police arrested a 17-year-old student with a gun at Federal Way High School Friday afternoon.
According to Federal Way police, three students reported getting a Snapchat video of a student with what appeared to be a handgun in a bag. Students reported the message to school officials.
Administrators locked down the school during the search for the student.
Authorities interviewed students which led them to the unidentified 17-year-old.
Police arrested the suspect and the school lockdown was lifted by 2:30 p.m.
Investigators said they also recovered the gun which had been reported stolen in a car prowl.
No further details were immediately released.
