Plane from Seattle slides off runway at O'Hare

CHICAGO (AP) - The Federal Aviation Administration says a flight from Seattle to Chicago slid off the runway at O'Hare International Airport.

Chicago Fire Department officials tell WBBM-TV that there were no injuries when the aircraft slid onto the grass.

The FAA says the slide-off happened at 7:55 a.m. Wednesday with United Flight 1977.

A fire department spokesman said the aircraft would be towed off the airfield.

The FAA says it's investigating.
