November is here: Storms hit the region

SEATTLE -- Our morning commute is lousy -- steady rain is causing areas of standing water -- it's Hydroplane City!  Take it easy.

There is a Wind Advisory until 8 p.m. and wind will be from the south gusting to 40-45 mph. We could have tree limbs down and power outages.

There is also a Winter Weather Advisory for the NE Cascades above 3,500'. Rain tapers off this evening and overnight.

Tomorrow looks much calmer, just a few showers, winds calming down, highs low 50s.  The weekend will be mainly dry, but there is a chance of a few showers.  It'll be colder, with highs only in the upper 40s.  Next week looks showery and chilly.
