Mudslide cancels Northline Sounder service

SEATTLE - A mudslide forced officials to cancel Northline Sounder train service between Seattle and Everett Monday.

Officials expect service to be back to a normal schedule on Tuesday. Sound transit offered bus service to passengers affected by the cancellation. Southline Sounder trains were not impacted.

The same slide canceled Amtrak service between Seattle and Everett until Wednesday.
