Missing swimmer at Madison Beach Park was never really missing

SEATTLE --  Police say a man who was reported missing after jumping into the water actually made it out safely and went home.

The Seattle Fire department was called to the 1900 block of 43rd Ave E around 9:15 p.m. Sunday.

Fire officials said a man in his 20s was jumping off the high dive. He went in feet first and never resurfaced according to two people who were with him. After an hour of searching, divers were pulled from the water.

Monday morning, Seattle police told Q13 News that the missing person was fine and never really missing. He got out of the water and went home.
