Missing 12-year-old Lacey girl found safe after not showing up at school

UPDATE: Police said the missing girl was found safe a short time later. No further details were released.

LACEY, Wash. – Lacey police are asking for help finding a 12-year-old girl who didn’t show up for school Monday morning.

They haven’t yet provided her name or said which school she attends.

She was last seen in jeans with a black coat and a purple bag in South Lacey. Her hair was in a bun.
