Mild, breezy and damp

SEATTLE -- Rain heads in tonight and will be sticking around Tuesday through Thursday. Most of the rain will be at the beach, mountains and north of Seattle.

Seattle gets the least amount of rain due to the rain-shadowing off of the Olympics. The mountains will get several inches of rain as the snow level climbs to 5,500 feet. The metro areas will enjoy some very mild temperatures with lows near 45 and highs near 55.

These are above normal temps for this time of year. It’ll be quite breezy as well with gusts around 30 MPH through Thursday.

The overall pattern is mild and breezy with some heavy rain over the mountains.
