Medical pot co-op manager tied up during robbery
SEATTLE -- Police in Olympia are looking for two suspects they said robbed a medical marijuana co-op before tying up the co-op's manager Tuesday night, the Olympian reported.
According to the Olympian, police said two black men entered the Lacey Cross co-op on Pacific Avenue around 7:15 p.m. They pointed a gun at the manager and demanded he open a safe. The men took an undisclosed amount of cash and marijuana from the safe, officers said, before tying the manager up in the co-op's bathroom. The suspects allegedly told the victims to stay in the bathroom, robbed his wallet and keys and then left on foot.
The victim broke free from his restraints and left the bathroom a short time later to call 911, the Olympian reported. He wasn't injured.
One of the suspects was described as about 25 years old, 6-feet tall and weighing about 200 pounds. He was last seen wearing a black jacket and hooded sweatshirt. The second suspect was around 20 years old, 5'11" tall and weighed about 165 pounds. He was wearing a red hooded sweatshirt and a blue bandanna over the lower part of his face.
