MOSES LAKE, Wash. - A 27-year-old man was shot and killed in rural Moses Lake early Sunday morning.
Grant County deputies were called to reports of a shooting near the Larson Housing Area, just off Highway 17. While they were there, they received another call for a domestic disturbance nearby. Deputies then found a 27-year-old man with gunshot wounds, and had him transported to Samaritan Hospital, where he later died from his injuries.
Witnesses told deputies the man was arguing with 48-year-old David Hagar, and as the argument escalated, Hagar shot him several times. He then ran back to his home.
Deputies contacted Hagar, who came out of his home to be taken into custody.
The sheriff's office is still investigating the incident.
