Man involved in crash that closed I-5 near Federal Way for hours dies



KENT, Wash. (AP) — A 19-year-old driver involved in a crash Monday afternoon that closed Interstate 5 near Federal Way has died.

Seattlepi.com reports (http://goo.gl/KAs5zh ) Misael Rosa Rosario died at a Seattle hospital Tuesday night.

No one else was injured in the collision.

Washington State Patrol officials say Rosario hit another car while driving south on I-5. He then lost control of his vehicle and traveled into the northbound lanes, hitting a pickup truck. Other vehicles heading north also hit Rosario's car.

The incident blocked the north lanes for nearly three hours Monday.
