Man held on $500K bail after threatening coach and pushing several at Little League game
CENTRALIA, Wash. — A 42-year-old Centralia man has had bail set at $500,000 after allegedly threatening a state Department of Corrections officer, a police officer and assaulting two people at a Little League game.
The Chronicle reports Maalgeney Denetclaw was charged Tuesday in Lewis County Superior Court with harassment of a criminal justice participant performing their duties, intimidating a public servant, and two counts of assault.
The Centralia Police Department says officers responded Saturday to a Little League field after receiving a report that Denetclaw walked onto the baseball field during a game and threatened a coach.
Court documents say Denetclaw threatened to assault the coach, identified as a state Department of Corrections officer who had indirect supervisory authority over Denetclaw.
Denetclaw also allegedly pushed a woman, threatened to assault an officer and pushed another man.
A call to Denetclaw's attorney wasn't immediately returned.
