Man fleeing deputies on stolen motorcycle slams into truck near White Center, dies

SEATTLE -- A motorcyclist fleeing King County sheriff's deputies at speeds up to 100 mph lost control of his bike and slammed into the back of a truck Thursday night near White Center, authorities said. He died at the scene.

Officers were getting ready to arrest the man on outstanding warrants when, they say, he spotted them and took off on a stolen motorcycle. He lost control when he hit a dip in the road and lost control, slamming into a truck.

The man was given CPR at the scene but did not survive.

The type of warrants against the man weren't immediately disclosed.
