Lockdown lifted at 2 Lynnwood schools following report of threat

LYNNWOOD -- School officials lifted a lockdown on two Lynnwood area schools Monday afternoon following a report of a person with a gun.

College Place Middle School and College Place Elementary School were both put in lockdown around 12:15 p.m. following the report from a third party of a man with a gun. A large police response was called out.

No suspects or persons with a gun were found in the area, police said. No problem was reported at either schools, and the lockdown was lifted at 12:30 p.m.
